Tribeca lofts are known for their open-plan kitchens and high-end appliance packages. This particular unit on Laight Street featured a fully integrated Miele G7366 dishwasher — until it started leaving two inches of standing water at the end of every cycle.
The diagnosis pointed to a failing drain pump combined with a partially clogged flow sensor. Miele dishwashers have excellent diagnostic systems — error code F11 was displayed, confirming the drain fault. The pump impeller had worn down to the point where it couldn't generate enough pressure to fully evacuate the tub.
We replaced the drain pump with a genuine Miele OEM component and thoroughly cleaned the flow sensor and filter assembly. The machine was run through two full test cycles before we left — both completed with zero standing water.
Miele dishwashers are among the most reliable on the market, but drain issues are the most common service call we receive on the G-series. Regular filter cleaning extends the pump life significantly. Serving Tribeca and all Manhattan neighborhoods — (212) 282-9858.
