A beautifully renovated Brooklyn Heights brownstone. A Wolf DF366 dual-fuel range that had been the centerpiece of the kitchen for six years. And two burners on the left side that clicked endlessly but refused to light — a problem that had been getting worse over three weeks.
The culprit was a failed igniter module — a component that generates the spark for the surface burners. On this generation of Wolf ranges, the module controls all six burners, but deterioration often presents as partial failure: some burners work, others don't. Food grease and humidity had compromised the module over time.
We replaced the igniter module with a genuine Wolf OEM component. All six burners were tested and confirmed operational. The oven igniter was also inspected and found within spec — no additional parts needed. Total repair time: 90 minutes.
